Launching a Quiz as a Pop-up

Setting up a pop-up

  1. Open your quiz > Publish > Pop-up
  2. Configure trigger rules (see below)
  3. Copy the embed snippet and add to your site or via Google Tag Manager

Trigger rules

| Trigger | Description | |---|---| | Time on page | Show after X seconds | | Scroll depth | Show when user scrolls X% down | | Exit intent | Show when mouse moves toward browser chrome | | Button click | Manual trigger via data-qc-trigger attribute | | Page URL | Only show on specific pages (regex supported) |

Display frequency

Set how often the same visitor sees the pop-up:

  • Once per session
  • Once per day
  • Once per week
  • Always (not recommended)

Frequency caps use a first-party cookie.

Suppression rules

Suppress the pop-up for visitors who have:

  • Already completed the quiz
  • Already submitted their email
  • Come from a specific UTM source

A/B testing pop-up triggers

Use two embed snippets with different trigger rules (one per quiz variant) to test which trigger drives higher completion rates.
